Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the OR & US Society mobile application and any associated services. By submitting an application or accepting an invitation to join, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Membership

Membership in OR & US Society is by invitation only, following a curated application review. We reserve the right to accept or decline any application without obligation to provide a reason. Membership may be paused or revoked at any time if these terms are violated or if the member no longer meets the standards of the Society.

Subscriptions & Billing

Paid membership tiers are billed through your Apple ID as auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.

Acceptable Use

Members agree to engage with the platform and with fellow members in good faith and with discretion. You may not share, screenshot, or republish any member exclusive content, conversations, or introductions without the explicit consent of all parties involved. Commercial solicitation of other members without prior consent is prohibited.

Rooms & Events

Event invitations are not transferable. Attendance at curated rooms is subject to capacity and eligibility criteria set by the Society. We reserve the right to adjust, cancel, or relocate events. Refunds for paid events, where applicable, are governed by the specific event terms communicated at the time of booking.

Intellectual Property

All editorial content, branding, photography, and design elements within the OR & US application are the exclusive property of Orphea Society and may not be reproduced without written permission. Members retain ownership of the personal content they submit but grant us a limited licence to display it within the platform.

Limitation of Liability

The OR & US application is provided 'as is'. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orphea Society is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, attendance at events, or introductions facilitated through the Society.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Dubai International Financial Centre, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the DIFC Courts.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after such notice constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree, you may request account deletion at any time.
